Cherokee Nation Construction Services (CNCS) offers highly skilled, professional, technical and administrative support teams for government and commercial clients. CNCS helps manage construction projects through effective engineering, scheduling, safety and financial management controls. The Project Engineer is responsible for all technical content of the task order assigned to him. The PE is expected to engage when technical expertise beyond the skill of the Superintendent or the project manager is required or at the request of the government for engineering evaluation of a technical issue.


Includes the following:

  • The PE is required to be on site 100% of the time.
  • The PE’s specific experience must match the technical content of the task order.
  • The PE is responsible for researching, designing, developing, testing components of systems for the installation of all materials.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for the contractor on all technical matters related to the systems within the contract.


Bachelors of Science degree in Electronics, Engineering

PE License

DOD Acquition Community Certification ( DAWIA)

7-year professional level experience in systems engineering, industrial design or related field.

3 years’ experience in DOD 5000 systems acquisition, RDT&E operational test & evaluation required.


  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to Multi-task and work on multiple project simultaneously.
  • Strong Computer Skills (Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.


Work will involve physical labor, mental and visual efforts due to the nature of the job.
