SUMMARY
Support business transformation efforts of G-8, G-4 and ASA(FM&C) to achieve readiness at best value through increased effectiveness and efficiency, reduced costs, and maximized use of limited resources. This position is focused on the data and data relationships between the process, systems and information elements to ensure a consistent understanding of the information value chain from start to finish (end to end).

 

This position requires the technical skills that bridges business process and systems, with a backdrop of personnel knowledge across systems, processes and technical integration brings solutions and rationale from an array of possibilities. This position will serve in support of the two senior positions by providing technical expertise and input. The SA Team Lead supports and/or facilitates customer engagement sessions, assisting in developing additional view points to support the capture, development of appropriate models to highlight the understanding of the process.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for providing enterprise architecture plans and leadership for the Solution Delivery component of a COTS implementation project.
  • Analyze current business and IT strategies, design a business architecture to support the organizations vision, and develop transition plans for designing and deploying an enterprise application and technology architecture that will achieve client goals and identified standards.
  • Problem solver with deliberate approach to capture and resolve options
  • Strong business acumen and customer focus
  • Familiarity and demonstrated experience in IT portfolio management.
  • Ability to lead a team of 5 to accomplish projects on time and within budget.
  • Ability to communicate, coordinate and accomplish projects within a highly matrixed environment.
  • Ability to act as lead facilitator in large work to small work groups.
  • Ability to capture and document meetings with large to small work groups with diverse interests.
  • Other contributing activities as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Master’s Degree with 7 years of experience; or Bachelor’s Degree with 12 years of experience.
  • Desired experience in IT projects and the planning and deployment of enterprise wide architecture solutions.
  • Desired project and program management experience as contractor with the Department of Defense.
  • Experience with process improvement tools and techniques.
  • Team lead experience preferred.
  • Experience working with Sr. Officials within the Department of Defense preferred.
  • Experience in supporting large contracts with the Department of Defense preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop architectures to help organizations align their business processes, people, and technologies with their business strategies.
  • Required: Candidate shall possess and be able to maintain a SECRET facility clearance.

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

  • Supervisor/Team Lead for staff of two full time employees and three part time employees.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Work will be performed primarily in a climate controlled office environment.
  • May require occasional lifting or moving of items up to 25 lbs.
