The current advertised position is for a UI Software Developer within the IT and software development family of CNT. This position requires the right candidate to formulate and define system scope and objectives to develop or modify information systems, prepare detailed specifications, design, code, test, debug, document, and maintain programs.

CNT uses the Agile Framework, team members will be expected to participate in daily and weekly stand-ups, retrospectives and sprint planning. Must be comfortable with changing deliverables, deadlines, and projects using a variety of different technologies.

  • Develop, test, implement, and maintain web-based application systems
  • Build highly functional and reliable web-based user interfaces
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and develop ways to improve applications
  • Communicate with team members and customers daily through various media (orally, written, electronically)
  • Work in an Agile environment while maintaining multiple projects simultaneously within sprints
  • Create and maintain accurate technical documentation
  • Create and manage REST APIs



  • This position does not have management authority or supervisory capacity



  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or similar degree
  • Years of experience can substitute for education requirements
  • 3+ years of experience with frontend technologies Angular (version 6 or higher), NodeJS, TypeScript , JavaScript
  • 3+ years of experience with HTML and CSS: Cascading StyleSheets
  • 3+ years of experience with REST web services: Representational State Transfer. Plus familiarity with the data interchange format JSON: JavaScript Object Notation
  • NetBeans Integrated Development Environment (IDE)
  • Microsoft Visual Studio Code IDE
  • Must be able to pass a background check



  • Oracle database
  • Oracle WebLogic or Apache Tomcat



  • Ability to work on a self-managing Agile team
  • Understanding of personal velocity and its impact on project deliverables
  • Create solutions that solve problems based on data analysis, user interviews, and feedback
  • Competent to work on all phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities.
  • Provide solutions that address usability, utility and functionality
  • Effectively apply the concepts of iterative human design and development
